A Free Gothic Erotica Story I Loved

Blue & Black

I think deep down I'm bit of a goth. Well, at least I love eerie castles towering over me at night (when there is a full moon, of course), and dangerous-looking guys with long dark hair and blue eyes. In fact, blue and black used to be my favorite color combination, for a long time. Yep, that included me having a phase when I dyed my hair black. My eyes? Well, they are pretty awesome (I think), as they change color. Nope, I'm not a vampire or an immortal (sadly). But my irises do change according to my mood, the light and many other factors. Cool, isn't it? Sometimes green like the stormy sea, then crystal blue. Those who have seen them the moment I wake up say that the color is the most magical that time. I believe them.

There is just something mystical in the whole gothic feel. Stories that involve dreams, reincarnation and the like are also my thing, as you already know. In fact, as it turned out after I read this erotica short story, the author also had a dream, one that inspired her to write Road to Nowhere. Talking about coincidences, right? Eerie, even fate-like. If you have read my Her First and Last Secret Admirer series, then you know what I'm talking about.

Dreams about a past long forgotten, and all the inexplicable feelings we get when we meet someone we have known for a thousand years (and yet in this lifetime you have only just met a minute ago) that make life truly amazing, wouldn't you agree? They are scary, true, but if we embrace them, they could lead us to something wonderful.

Road to Nowhere

And this brings me to this lovely gothic erotica short story I read. It pulled me in right at the start (right at the title, actuall). I knew it would be something different, and I also had a feeling that it would have a higher meaning for me. And voila, I read it in one go, bookmarking the story instantly. Why? Because it spoke to my soul.

It is way more than just an erotic story. I would even say it's more than gothic erotica. Of course, Road to Nowhere involves the crucial castle, the dangerous guy, and the damsel in distress (who isn't a damsel, no, not really, but she is in big trouble). And boy, is it erotic? Oh, yes, a big, fat yes to that. In fact, the story should come with a warning. No kidding!

But there is also a moral to the story, one that shook me to the core. In just a few thousand words, Mags Hayward managed to tackle one of the biggest questions of our existence, and while doing so, she created a sexy tale of longing, long-lost love, lust and passion. Sizzling hot passion that was burning bright throughout the sex scenes. Phew, someone turn down the heat! The author has a unique style I love, and I have read many titles from her since, but this was the very first.

Hotness Multiplied

~o~

We get to know the two main characters, Seren (or rather, Mistress Seren) and Master Reynard. And they are one hell of a couple! I still remember some parts of their conversation (not that they had too much time to talk, but still). They prove just how much we don't know about our own sexuality, how we hide behind norms and traditions to mask who we truly are. Reynard is a guy anyone can fall in love with, and Seren is the woman all of us want to be (or the other way around).

But they are far from perfect, and that's what makes them human, real. Even though at points you question whether any of the story (dream) is real. It is simply brilliant, yet there is nothing simple in it. The story is ful of exquisite details, unique descriptions and steamy erotica. Mags Hayward truly knows how to create a world full of pleasure and lust. Oh, all of that happens in a gothic castle, somewhere between dreams and reality? Between existence and non-existence? If you ask me, that just adds to the sexiness of it all.

Conclusion

Actually, I think I will be re-reading it now. I'm getting goose bumps even thinking about it! For some reason, Reynard reminded me of Jamie from Outlander, but maybe because I found him equally hot (if not more so). But you don't have to believe me. Please, don't! Remember, what works for one, might not work for another. And this erotica short does have quite a long foreplay so to speak, so if you are up for a quicky, then maybe this shouldn't be your first choice.

If you are longing for some quality erotica however, then this might just be perfect for you. Character development, fully-carried-out plot and exquisite details. I usually describe these kind of stories as arousing for not only your lady (or gentleman) parts, but for your brain and soul, too. Now, my Lovely Readers, that's what I call a truly orgasmic experience. Because I believe that sex (and therefore erotic literature) should satisfy us in every possible way.

Okay, I think I have created a long enough foreplay myself (haha), so if you are still with me, then you can read Road to nowhere here. Enjoy!

P.S.: Don't forget that there are less than two days to sign up for this month's giveaway. Of course, next month's titles will be announced soon, too, so if you don't fancy grabbing May's titles, then stay tuned for my next blog post. Also, I'm sure that the author would appreciate your feedback on her story, should you decide to read it. And I would be really glad, too. Don't forget that it's all about your pleasure, always!

Love,

Timea x
